These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Chronos Construction website, products, and services. By accessing our website or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Chronos Construction Ltd ("we", "us", "our") is a construction company registered at Unit 7, Cranes Farm Road, Basildon, Essex, SS14 3JB.

2. Products and Services

We supply construction materials, building supplies, and professional construction services including but not limited to:

  • Construction materials and building supplies
  • Consultation and planning services
  • Residential and commercial construction
  • Renovation and refurbishment services
  • Project management

All products are subject to availability. We reserve the right to discontinue any product without prior notice.

3. Pricing and Payment

All prices displayed on our website are in British Pounds (GBP) and include VAT at the current rate unless otherwise stated. Prices for construction services are provided as quotations and may vary based on project requirements.

Payment methods accepted:

  • Credit/Debit cards (via Stripe secure payment)
  • Bank transfer (for trade accounts)
  • Cash or card (in-store purchases)

Full payment is required at time of booking for consultation services. For construction projects, a deposit of 25% is typically required with staged payments throughout the project.

4. Booking and Cancellation

Consultation bookings can be made through our website. Once payment is confirmed, you will receive an email confirmation.

Cancellation Policy:

  • Cancellations made 48+ hours before the appointment: Full refund
  • Cancellations made 24-48 hours before: 50% refund
  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours before: No refund
  • Failure to attend without notice: No refund

5. Refunds and Returns

For product purchases:

  • Unused products in original packaging may be returned within 14 days for a full refund
  • Custom or cut-to-size materials cannot be returned unless faulty
  • Proof of purchase is required for all returns
  • Refunds will be processed within 5-10 business days to the original payment method

For faulty products, please contact us within 30 days of purchase. We will arrange collection and replacement or refund at our discretion.

6. Delivery

We offer delivery throughout Essex and surrounding areas. Delivery charges are calculated based on order weight and distance. Free delivery is available for orders over £200 within a 10-mile radius of our premises.

Estimated delivery times are provided at checkout but are not guaranteed. We are not liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control.

7. Construction Services

For construction projects, a separate contract will be provided outlining:

  • Scope of works
  • Project timeline
  • Payment schedule
  • Warranty terms

All construction work is carried out in accordance with current Building Regulations and relevant British Standards. We hold appropriate insurance including Public Liability (£5 million) and Professional Indemnity (£1 million).

All content on this website, including text, images, logos, and design elements, is the property of Chronos Construction Ltd and is protected by copyright law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without our written permission.

9. Privacy Policy

We are committed to protecting your privacy. Personal information collected through this website is used solely for:

We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties except as necessary to fulfill services (e.g., payment processing via Stripe). Your payment details are handled securely by Stripe and are never stored on our servers.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Chronos Construction Ltd shall not be liable for:

Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the relevant product or service.

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
